Dear Homeowners,
The Board and management want to thank all those members that came out to the recent Board meeting to participate in the Association’s governance. It was a great turnout, and we appreciate all the important feedback. Do not worry if you couldn’t attend. The Board plans on holding meetings frequently and will be notifying the membership prior. Minutes will also be distributed to the Association members after meetings to keep them abreast on all current situations (Attached are the minutes from the August 16th meeting).
Community Updates and Information
Committees: (Volunteers Needed!!)
One of the Board’s first orders of business is to try to get the Association members back involved with the community. The Board is currently seeking volunteers to serve on the following Committees:
Social/ Hospitality Committee- objective is to help organize and hold community events…holiday parties, cookouts, pool parties… They also will be the neighborhood welcoming party.
Yard of month -objective of this committee will be to set up and organize the yard of the month program. They will be finding creative ways to reward those individuals who have the nicest yards in the community.
ARC Committtee- objective of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) is to review applications on modifications that need approval according to the Governing Documents. These modifications include fences, sheds,
gazebos, landscape etc..
Pool Committee- objective is to establish and maintain rules and regulations surrounding the pool amenity to ensure a safe and friendly environment.
Neighborhood Committees- objective is to create small committees in each individual neighborhood in The Farm, whose priority is to continually assess the wellness of their subsection and report back to the
Board on any issues including crime, potential maintenance, and anything else specific to that section.
***If you have a little bit of time and would like to participate please contact Aaron Hettesheimer at aaron@cmgcharleston.com. Please indicate what committee you would like to participate in along with all your current contact information. Remember, a community is only as strong as its members, so let’s build a strong foundation through these committees and make The Farm the talk of Wescott Plantation.****
